Originally from Yorkshire, Anne has been a regular face on CBBC from the age of 15. Her first experience was when she auditioned for a children's show called DIY TV. She didn't land the job but was spotted by a CBBC Producer and in 2001 Anne hit our screens in hidden camera show, STITCH UP (BBC). In between causing mayhem on the streets and dressing up in a series of ridiculous costumes, Anne also starred in CBBC's sitcom BAD PENNY playing the lead role. It wasn't long before CBBC asked her to guest present their summer location tour in 2003, with Anne becoming a full time face on CBBC in early 2004.
Since then she has had a huge range of experience presenting a wide variety of shows including the live show BRITAIN'S AMAZING MATES (CBBC) and spent over 3 years as a regular presenter of CBBC'S LIVE AFTERNOONS (BBC1/BBC2/CBBC Channel), which involved live studio work with Multi-Camera, daily output included competitions, games and talking to callers.
When not in the studio she presented live from outdoor locations including the Secret War Chambers in London, No. 10 Downing Street, live from back stage at COMIC RELIEF and reporting from Wimbledon presenting live in the multi-camera BBC Sport Studio with Sue Barker.
Anne now presents daily for Al Gore’s Emmy® award winning channel Current. With audiences across the UK, USA and Ireland, Current empowers viewers to create, influence and determine the content they want to see and is the only peer-to-peer news network dedicated to young adults.
From December 2008 you can see "The Anne Foy Show" Monday - Thursday evenings 7pm - 8pm on Current TV - (Virgin Media Ch155, Sky Ch183)
