Anne was born in Worksop in 1986. As she grew up, it was clear she was destined for showbusiness.

Anne left CBBC in 2007 to develop her journalistic experience and to look for more opportunities to create and produce her own ideas. This led to her moving to Al Gore’s Emmy award winning channel CURRENT TV where she worked as a broadcast Journalist and hosted a number of shows including FACEBOOK VS TWITTER (Current TV), WEBMASH (Current TV) and a number of documentaries that she created and wrote including SEX, THUGS AND ROCK N’ROLL (Current TV), THE BEST OF BROOMFIELD (Current TV), ENVIROMENTAL (Current TV), FINDING FAITH (Current TV) and THE RELATIONSHIP (Current TV). These documentaries have covered a vast range of subjects ranging from knife crime, the sex trade and class A drugs to the world of Krishna consciousness and Cambodian Christians. Anne is in the process of writing and presenting a series of studio-based documentaries including PROSTITUTION UNCOVERED and REAL WOMEN ON TOP - a five part series showcasing ambitious women.
